Product Description
Pendimethalin is a dinitrotoluidine herbicide, belonging to a low toxicity herbicide. It mainly inhibits the division of meristem cells and does not affect the germination of weed seeds. Instead, it acts after the young buds, stems, and roots absorb the herbicide during the germination process of weed seeds. The absorption site of dicotyledonous plants is the hypocotyl, while monocotyledonous plants are young buds. The symptom of its damage is that the young buds and secondary roots are suppressed to achieve the purpose of weeding.
Product uses
Pendimethalin can be widely used in corn, soybean, peanut, cotton, live dry rice, potato, tobacco, vegetables and other crops field weeding.When applying pesticide to corn and soybean fields, the sowing depth should be 3-6 cm, and the seeds should be covered with soil to avoid contact with the pesticide.During soil treatment, applying pesticides before irrigation can increase the adsorption of pesticides on the soil and reduce pesticide damage. Mixing with other herbicides should be considered in fields with more dicotyledonous weeds.On sandy soil with low organic matter content, it is not suitable to apply it before seedlings.
