As a low-toxicity herbicide, Clethodim is mainly applicable to the field weeding of more than 40 crops such as soybean, flax, tobacco and watermelon, and can control more than 30 species of grass weeds such as barnyard grass. The herbicide is an endothermic conductive stem and leaf treatment agent. After the stem and leaf treatment, it is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and transmitted to the meristem and root, causing its cell division to be destroyed, inhibiting the active chemicalbook of the plant meristem, and the plant chlorosis and necrosis within 1 to 3 weeks after the application of the herbicide, and then the leaves dry and die. The half-life of enochlor in soil is 3~26d, and its duration is short, which has no effect on the following crops. Its mechanism of action is the same as that of dipyridine, fenflufop-ethyl and quinfop-ethyl, which are inhibitors of acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase).

Clethodim is applicable to broad-leaved fields such as soybean, rape, tobacco, cotton, peanut, flax, etc., and can control grass weeds such as barnyard grass, hard grass, horseradish, wild oats, barnyard grass, settail grass, taurine grass, bluegrass, etc. Enochlor is a new chemicalbook-type post-seedling herbicide in dryland, with excellent selectivity. After application, it can be rapidly absorbed by the stems and leaves of gramineous weeds and transmitted to the stem tip and meristem, inhibit the activity of meristem, destroy cell division, and ultimately lead to the death of weeds.
